Penelope Disick probably has an extensive closet; after all, her mom is Kourtney Kardashian, and between her, fashionable dad Scott, and aunts Kim and Khloe, it’s likely that her wardrobe is pretty chic. The almost-three year old is apparently pretty protective over it, as well, as Kourtney says she and her cousin North West were recently fighting over shoes in Penelope’s closet.
The girls were playing dress-up, Kourtney says, just like she and Kim used to do.
“Both of the girls love shoes. Last night North was over and they were fighting over shoes in Penelope’s closet and they were so cute. By the end, they were sharing and trying the shoes on each other and having so much fun. It reminds me of how Kim and I were when we were little girls. We had this game we played, I was Donna Karan and she was my assistant, and I was really bossy. We would always hear my mom talk about designers, and she had all this designer vintage…We had so much fun playing in her closet. My daughter already tries on my shoes, and she plays with my makeup. It’s fun, but it brings out the girlier side in me knowing that I’m a role model for her,” Kourtney said.
Kourtney often posts photos of her kids on Instagram, much to the delight of her fans, and says that with the addition of baby Reign has been more of a blessing than anything else. although everyone knows that three kids has to be a lot of work.
“It just really enhanced everything—it’s such a blessing. I think the kids have been really happy, and it doesn’t seem like that much has changed, it just seems like a really wonderful addition.”
Kourtney and her siblings have been very vocal recently in supporting their stepdad, Bruce Jenner, in his openness about transitioning to a female. The entire family made headlines last month after Bruce sat down for an in-depth interview with Diane Sawyer to talk about his decision, and Kourtney says she believes his honesty could change lives.
