Lynda Carter has spoken out in support of some important people in recent days. The original Wonder Woman was very moved by Bruce Jenner’s recent interview with Diane Sawyer, and the transition the Keeping Up With the Kardashians patriarch is undertaking. She also wants people to vote for Hillary Clinton.
It should be mentioned that Lynda Carter didn’t drum up support for both of these people at the same time. In fact, it was a few days ago that she spoke with the New York Post about Bruce Jenner.
“I always supported gay issues, but I never understood transgender issues. But after I heard Bruce Jenner speak so honestly, so sincerely and so relatably, I totally got it. I totally understood what he was saying–it was so compelling,” she said.
On Wednesday it was made clear that Wonder Woman is in Hillary Clinton’s corner.
“My husband and I have known the Clintons since 1983 or ’84. We’re family friends. Hillary has never changed, she has always been the smartest person in the room,” Lynda Carter said of the Democratic presidential hopeful. “We need someone that gets it, we need someone that gets all of it. She doesn’t need four years of training before she gets it in the White House. We want someone that can be off and running. She did it in the Senate.”

In the midst of all this support, Lynda Carter even had something to say about the 2017 Wonder Woman film that Warner Bros. is making.
“I would love to be involved in a creative position…I know so much about what people want from it,” she said.
Lynda Carter even hinted she wouldn’t mind playing a role in the upcoming film.
Bruce Jenner no doubt feels the love knowing he has Wonder Woman Lynda Carter supporting the new life he will soon lead. Do you think Wonder Woman has the power needed to catapult Hillary Clinton all the way to the Oval Office?
And finally–would you like to see Lynda Carter–the original Wonder Woman–play a role in 2017’s Wonder Woman? Don’t you suppose she at least deserves a cameo?
