Pattie Mallette received a sweet message on Mother’s Day from her son, Justin Bieber.

The 21-year-old pop singer hasn’t made the best decisions in the past couple of years, but is well on the road to recovering his reputation. Two things have always remained constants in Justin Bieber’s life despite those poor choices. One is his strong faith in God, and the other is his mom, Pattie Mallette.

Justin Bieber honored his mom via Instagram on Mother’s Day.

“This little 4’9″ woman may not look like a mom but she is, and she’s the best at it!” he captioned the photo. “This woman taught me everything I know, how to love how to be compassionate how to be strong when the only thing u wanna be is weak how to stand when all you want to do is fall. If it wasn’t for this woman lets just say I would have had a way LONGER stupid phase. I love u and thank u for not giving up on me!”

Pattie Mallette was just 17 when she gave birth to Justin Bieber. She raised him as a single mom.

How nice that Justin would honor his mom in this very special way.

Life has certainly changed in enormous ways for both Pattie Mallette and Justin Bieber since he broke onto the music scene. Hopefully Justin stays on his new ‘straight and narrow’ path and continues making his mom proud.
