Kendall Jenner and her younger sister Kylie Jenner were booed at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday as they announced their brother-in-law Kanye West’s performance. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians duo had some sweet things to say about Kim Kardashian’s husband, but the audience simply wasn’t having it.

Dressed to the nines, Kylie and Kendall Jenner took to the Billboard Music Awards stage and announced they were proud to call Kanye West their brother-in-law. That’s when the booing started.

Of course it’s not completely clear that it was Kendall and Kylie who the rude reaction was aimed at. It could very well have been Kanye West himself. His performance was bleeped out so much that people actually took to social media to see if his mic was broken or if the network was having some sort of sound difficulty.

Neither was the case. There was so much profanity in Kanye’s song that the network had to bleep it out.

Poor Kylie and Kendall Jenner, however. They didn’t even get to finish what they set out to say when introducing Kanye West before being booed relentlessly. They handled it like champs, however, finished what they set out to say, and left the stage.
