Kaitlyn Bristowe will be the star of The Bachelorette, and she couldn’t be more surprised or excited.

As the world is now aware, on Tuesday night’s episode of The Bachelorette, it was Kaitlyn Bristowe who collected the most roses and won the chance to sift through a large collection of men for a chance at real love.

The very next day, Kaitlyn Bristowe has taken to her blog again to share her feelings about what went on at the mansion.

Of course, the sweet Kaitlyn Bristowe was mostly worried about Britt Nilsson.

Kaitlyn Bristowe wrote, “When Chris Harrison told me the news, of course I was excited. But the first thing that came to mind was, ‘How is Britt?’ I wanted to run to her and give her a huge hug and make sure she was okay.”

She continued, “Britt is a strong woman, so I knew she would handle it well, but that’s just not something anyone would want to go through. It was without a doubt the strangest mix of emotions all at once.”

In addition to the emotional low of worrying about Britt in her disappointment, she also got to experience a very sincere welcome from most of the guys.

Kaitlyn Bristowe recounted her feelings when host Chris Harrison announced to the room full of men that she was staying and she got to walk out to greet them.

She wrote, “I was thrilled to walk around that corner when Chris Harrison announced me as the Bachelorette. But, at the same time, how could I not wonder who would be disappointed? Life is about connections, and some people have better chemistry with others. That don’t make you bad people. [sic] When you have a group of men and two different women, it’s to be expected that the room could be split.”

It's about to get real. Real quick. 4 days #thebachelorette

She added, “But let me tell you, hearing those guys cheer and seeing the smiles on their faces when I walked into the room was a moment I will never forget.”
