Eva Mendes is one of the more selfless ladies in Hollywood, and she proved that on Wednesday when she shared her first selfie.

Eva Mendes’ selfie, her “selfless selfie” as it has been dubbed, was long-awaited, but was worth the wait.

In the pic, Eva Mendes poses with a shirt that reads, “Hope and prayers for Andrew Wilson.”

The caption states Eva Mendes’ purpose.

In the comments section of Eva Mendes’ photo today, a woman wrote, “I am the Community Outreach Director for the TalbertFamilyFoundation.org which helps Andrew. I can’t begin to tell you how impactful your contribution has been. I’ve been trying – for months – to get this family even a 10th of the support you magically made happen in the last 24 hours!!”

This little guy, Andrew Wilson Wratten, is full of smiles, a ball of energy and VERY special to me. He has been undergoing treatment for neuroblastoma cancer. His family has spent the last year going through every parent's worst nightmare as they watch their little boy endure grueling treatment and they need our help. Please consider making a donation. What a cool way to help someone in need! Of course, this cause is close to Eva Mendes‘ heart, as her brother also battles cancer.
