Jacqueline Siegel and her husband David–best known for the film about their life–Queen of Versailles–are mourning the sudden passing of their 18-year-old daughter, Victoria Siegel.
Victoria was found unresponsive at the home of parents David and Jacqueline Siegel on Sunday. She was pronounced dead at a local Central Florida hospital a short time later.
Jacqueline Siegel thanked supporters for their prayers and asked that everyone respect the family and their privacy as they mourn their tragic loss.
It is with great sadness that we ask you to respect our privacy during this tragic time and the loss of our beloved daughter, Victoria.

Victoria Siegel’s billionaire parents attempted to build “the biggest house in America,” featuring 13 bedrooms, a movie theater, bowling alley, arcade and roller-skating rink–but the building process was plagued by financial setbacks stemming from the 2009 economic crisis. The home was never completed. The hit film, Queen of Versailles, was based upon the building of this home.
Jacqueline Siegel appeared on TV last week on Celebrity Wife Swap. She swapped with Juliet Reeves London, wife of Party of Five and 7th Heaven actor Jeremy London. She admitted on the show how she left most of the parenting of her and David Siegel’s children to nannies.

“I’m kind of baby-phobic,” she said. “I rarely changed my own kids’ diapers . . . We always had six nannies around.”
Do you suppose she is regretting that now, in light of her daughter’s untimely death?
David and Jacqueline Seigel have a long road ahead of them, as do their family members. Losing a child has got to be the most difficult thing any parent can ever endure.
