Khloe Kardashian is among many people mourning the untimely passing of Lamar Odom’s best friend Jamie Sangouthai. The Khoe & Lamar star was just 37 years old at the time of his death.

Jamie Sangouthai was friends with several members of the Keeping Up With the Karashians gang for many years–including, of course, Khloe Kardashian.

Another close family friend of Jamie Sangouthai’s–Malika Haqq–confirmed his death.

Khloe Kardashian shared her grief on Sunday via Twitter.

Malika Hagg shared an Instagram shot of their late friend. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are included in the photo.

RadarOnline reports that Jamie Sangouthai died of a heroin overdose.

Lamar Odom hasn’t issued a statement regarding his best friend’s death. He and Jamie Sangouthai were best friends since high school. They orchestrated business deals together and shared a love of basketball. Jamie was Lamar’s best man when he married Khloe Kardashian.
