Emily Kinney, who played sweet, angel-voiced Beth on The Walking Dead up until her shocking departure from the show last year, is reportedly dating Norman Reedus, and it’s all the web can talk about this week.

According to a source, the duo forged a friendship during their time on the show, but a romance has only recently blossomed. Kinney, who is a real-life musician, reportedly had a lot of support from Reedus when she started spending more time focusing on her music career.

“He was one of the first to support her at her concerts when she was still on the show,” a source told Us Weekly.

After Beth was killed off on the show, Emily told the magazine that Norman texted her to offer support.

“Everyone reached out, though I remember Norman texted me—he’s so sweet.”

Perhaps due to the rabid fans The Walking Dead has produced, the couple are apparently trying to keep things low-key in the media, but now that news has leaked they’re sure to be asked about it everywhere they go. Emily is currently on tour and Reedus has been filming in Atlanta, and neither have confirmed that they are indeed in a relationship.

Reedus made headlines earlier this year when he was the victim of a prank by co-star Andrew Lincoln, who partnered with fan and zombie prankster Nick Santonastasso. Nick, who suffers from a genetic disorder, is missing both legs and one arm and had been trying to capture the attention of The Walking Dead showrunners for a potential spot in an episode. With makeup effects by Greg Nicotero, Santonastasso got zombiefied and rushed out at Reedus during a promotional event, much to the amusement of everyone involved. Reedus–who had seen Santonastasso’s plea to be on the show and had retweeted him–was startled, but made a quick and lighthearted comeback.

“I already know about you. I’ve already blasted you out to the planet. Good job, you jerk!”
