Janet Jackson’s new song is an answer to her recent promises of new things to come.

Back in May, Janet Jackson said new stuff was on the horizon via a video on Twitter.

In the video, Janet Jackson’s new plans were outlined. She said, “I promised you’d hear it from my lips, and now you will.”

She added, “This year: new music, new world tour, a new movement. I’ve been listening. Let’s keep the conversation going.”

Well, last week Janet Jackson announced new tour dates, which accounted for the new tour promise. Her Unbreakable world tour kicks off in August in Vancouver and wraps in Honolulu in November.

This week, it’s Janet Jackson’s new song. The song is a slow jam titled “No Sleeep”.

Janet Jackson’s new song post on Twitter was accompanied by a caption that read, “I dedicate this to My Love.”

Her love would presumably be her billionaire husband, Wissam Al Mana.

Janet Jackson‘s new song, “No Sleeep”, was produced by familiar powerhouse team Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

This the first of Janet Jackson’s new songs and the first album in a whopping seven years!

Janet Jackson’s reclusiveness hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Janet Jackson, who is an unbelievable 49, is expected to make her big comeback event Sunday’s BET Awards.

If she appears as expected, it would be Janet Jackson’s first major television appearance in three years.
