Giuliana Rancic announces her departure from her anchor post on E! News starting August 10.
“For more than a decade, I was fortunate enough to play a role in the success of E! News and will miss my family at the show,” Rancic says.
“At the same time, I am excited to not only continue as host of two major franchises on E! but also executive produce the aspirational new show Rich in Faith for Oxygen as well as take my wine and clothing lines to the next level,” the talented host adds.

2015 has so far been hard on the anchor after a series of devastating events.
Rancic’s decision came just a few months after the Zendaya controversy when the anchor criticized the 18-year-old singer and Disney star’s dreadlocks during the Academy Awards on how her hair looked like it “smelled of patchouli or weed” on Fashion Police and also after she endured a loss when the couple’s surrogate mother went through a miscarriage.
She has also been criticized about her weight. In response to criticism, Rancic says “I know I’m too thin.”
There has not been much information on the real reason of her stepping down from the daily flagship program. The network has not decided who they will place on Rancic’s soon-to-be vacant position.
She will still be a Fashion Police co-host and Live from the Red Carpet correspondent.
“During her time here, Giuliana played an instrumental role in building E! News into a global entertainment news powerhouse and while we will miss seeing her on set every day,’” says Adam Stotsky, the general manager of E!.
Rancic thanks her soon-to-be former co-workers saying, “This is such a thrilling time for me and I thank the gang at E! for understanding my desire to embark on this next chapter in my life.”
