Stephanie March of Law & Order: SUV has finalized a divorce from her husband of 10 years, Bobby Flay.

March and Flay announced that they had reached a settlement and their divorce was final on Friday in a joint statement.

“We have come to an amicable divorce settlement,” the the couple said. “We look forward to putting this difficult time behind us and we ask that you respect our privacy as we move forward.”

Sadly, the end of their marriage has been played out in the media over the past few months after reports surfaced that the celebrity chef cheated on 40-year-old Stephanie March.

According to Page Six, Flay, 50, was having a three-year affair with his 28 year-old assistant Elyse Tirrell, described as a “singer/actress who worked as a hostess at the chef’s Bar Americain in 2008.”

It continued to get ugly as Flay’s rep discounted the claims, explaining that the accusations were “continued efforts by certain parties to spread rumors and innuendo.”

“This specific allegation was in a letter sent from one attorney in this case to the other,” the statement continued. “It was written and then leaked specifically to try to insert this story into the press, and that’s unfortunate. Even more unfortunate is that all of this is being done in order to renegotiate a prenuptial agreement that was agreed to over a decade ago and never amended during the marriage.”

At the time, March’s lawyers were contesting the couple’s prenup, which stated that Flay would pay his ex $5,000 a month.

The ugly reached new heights on June 2 when an airplane pulling a banner with the words “Cheater” flew over Hollywood as Bobby Flay was receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. March’s lawyer denied she had anything to do with it.

“Stephanie is absolutely not behind [this],” her attorney, Deborah Lans, told Us Weekly at the time.

Stephanie March and Bobby Flay did not have any children together.
