Bill Cosby continues to take hits to his reputation and empire as the scandal surrounding him shows no sign of slowing down.
This week, Bill Cosby was handed another vote of no confidence as Spelman College made an announcement that they were distancing the institution from the embattled personality.
“The William and Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby Endowed Professorship at Spelman College has been discontinued and related funds have been returned to the Clara Elizabeth Jackson Carter Foundation,” Spelman spokesperson Audrey Arthur said in a statement.
Bill Cosby has already had to step down from his Board position at Temple University, his alma mater.
While for a while it seemed like the Cosby Scandal would come down to a case of their word against his, a deposition from his legal battle with Andrea Constand came back to haunt him. Cosby’s own words, while not damning evidence in and of themselves, were seen by the public and the media as halfway to proving what the women accusing him of drugging and raping them were saying.
Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it. -Bill Cosby

In the deposition, Bill Cosby admitted to using Quaaludes for sex with women, hiding the affairs from his wife Camille, and disrtibuting money to cover up his deeds. Cosby’s attorneys were quick to point out that Quaalude use does not mean Cosby’s sexual encounters were with unwilling participants. They said that many consenting couples used Quaaludes in the 1970s to spice up their sex lives.
Still, the suspicion and tide of opinion seems to swing against Cosby. Some of his supporters are starting to back down in their adamant insistence that he is innocent until proven guilty.
Many wonder at the silence of Camille Cosby, Bill’s wife, during all this. It is now evident that she knew about at least one affair he had. She has insisted in her one statement that Cosby is “still the man you all thought you knew.”
What word rhymes with quaaludes?
I'm trying to write a poem in defence of Bill Cosby.
