Bobby Brown was spotted leaving the Peachtree Christian Hospice on Sunday night, following the death of his 22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. Bobbi Kristina was the only child Bobby Brown had with the late Whitney Houston during their marriage.

TMZ shared a picture of Bobby Brown as he was driven away from the hospice. His face spoke volumes. While he no doubt feels some relief, knowing his daughter is no longer lying unresponsive in a hospice bed, the grief is plain to see, too. No parent should even lose a child. It’s simply not the natural order of life.

Shortly after leaving the hospice, Bobby Brown–surrounded by family members and friends–stopped at The Speedy Avocado to have a bite to eat. And while it’s likely some will deem him crass or uncaring for doing so–what else is a man to do when his daughter has just died? There is just so much time the family is allowed to spend with a loved one following their passing. And that old adage does hold true–life goes on. People–even those in the throes of grief–must still eat, drink, and go about the things everyone else does on a daily basis.

Hopefully Bobby Brown is finding some comfort in those family members and friends around him, as well as in those who surrounded him in the days leading up to Bobbi Kristina’s passing.

The next few days will no doubt be difficult, too, as Bobby Brown–along with Whitney Houston’s family–prepares to lay Bobbi Kristina Brown to rest.
