More news on the reboot on the beloved 90’s sitcom Full House are popping out as Netflix official Ted Sarandos announced that the Olsen twins’ are contemplating their involvement in the show.

It’s possible.

Despite earlier reports and statements, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen may still be able join their former co-stars in this new throwback series, Fuller House.

“The Olsen twins are teetering whether or not they’ll be around,” said Sarandos. The Netflix head of content acquisition broke the news this Tuesday at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills, California.

The Olsen sisters were playing the same role as Michelle Tanner, the youngest daughter of the San Francisco family best known for her catch phrases such as “you got it, dude!”, “aw, nuts!” and “no way, Jose!”

However, news broke out months ago that Mary Kate and Ashley will not join the cast of Fuller House. Executive producer Robert L. Boyett also confirmed this piece of information.

“Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family,” said Boyett in a statement.

The update was no surprise seeing that the Olsens were never really in touch with their former co-stars, being absent in multiple reunions and spin-off rumors.

The recurring cast in Fuller House includes Bob Saget, John Stamos, Candace Cameron, and Jodie Sweetin. The stars were not shy of posting Instagram photos of their reunions and the shooting of the first episodes.

John Stamos was particularly affected by the Olsen hiatus news as he tweeted “#heartbroken” immediately after.

It’s going to be alright, John. In the words of the cute Michelle, “Don’t cry, be a big boy!”
