Karlie Kloss turned 23 this week and in celebration, besides baking her own cake, she shared 23 things she’s learned about life.
Karlie Kloss is still young, but she has learned quite a bit about how the world works.
In a video she shared with fans, Karlie Kloss outlines her 23 years of discovery.
A few nuggets of 23-year-old wisdom include the following:
“If you have free time, Facetime your family.”
“Hard work pays off.”
“Not everyone’s going to like you.”
“Blondes seem to have more fun.”
“Coffee is a gift from the heavens.”
All of these are true, but her most valuable gem of knowledge might just be this one:
Karlie Kloss said, “Take time for yourself, but if you take too much time for yourself, and you’re late, make sure you have baked goods.”
That is so true, many a work relationship and personal relationship has been mended with cookies and brownies.
Karlie Kloss has learned enough about the world that she knows the true value of education. Karlie Kloss recently gave up her gig with Victoria’s Secret to head back to school.
When she was recently asked why she is going back to college now, Karlie Kloss said, “I didn’t want to wait until I’m 30 to continue learning and challenging myself in new ways. I am 23 and at a very busy point in my career, but I hope it’s just the beginning. I want to do it all.”
Oh, to have such bright eyes and a bushy tail! Smart girl.
When asked what she would be studying at NYU, she said, “Like most kids starting college, my major is still ‘undecided.’ Next year will be a big balancing act—but how exciting!”
Good luck to Karlie Kloss as she starts her new life as a student.
