Monty Brinson took to social media to show his support for ex-wife, Kim Richards.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is facing tough problems nowadays. Richards was arrested for shoplifting over $600 worth of products from the Van Nuys Target in California earlier this month, reports said.

Added to that, there were rumors that her family is planning on putting her on psychiatric treatment. She was also said to be homeless and broke according to TMZ.

Brinson wrote on his Instagram, “One day the people that didn’t believe in you will tell everyone how they met you. That quote is in honor of @kimrichards11 all I will say at this time besides being best friends, and personally a person who has a great heart is thankful to all her fans and friends for believing in her.”

Brinson said he has not seen his ex-wife but he confirmed that they speak every day. Defending her, he wrote on his Instagram, “know the facts before being judgmental.” He also thanked Richards’ fans for supporting and believing in her.

Reports said Richards took some merchandise and put them inside the reusable bags she had, then left without checking out.

She told the clerk the products were paid and then made another attempt of stealing a cart full of toys and beauty items. But she was stopped by the store security.

According to TMZ, Richards looted an assortment of products like animal crackers and stickers, office items, gloves, jump ropes and a vanity mirror.

Brinson was clearly shocked but dismissed the issue saying “I couldn’t imagine Kim stealing or shoplifting anything. She is a giver.”

Meanwhile, Richards will not be returning to her show Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, Brinson is still positive that things will turn out good for his ex-wife.
