Pop diva, Christina Aguilera, and fiancé Matt Rutler celebrated their daughter’s first birthday on Sunday.
Aguilera posted on Instagram, a photo of Summer Rain wearing an apple print outfit with the caption: “Happy 1st birthday! My sweet, Summer Rain.”
Proud father, Rutler, tweeted a photo of him carrying Summer Rain in the garden. He also took time to tweet a sweet and touching message for his daughter and shared a video of them sending off Summer Rain’s message in a bottle in the sea.

Aguilera, 34, told People in May, that she was happy and proud to be a mother. She enjoys her time with her two children, Summer and 7-year-old Max Liron.

According to E! News, Aguilera has always wanted a unique name for her baby daughter. The insider who told E! News the story said, “She loves how Summer Rain Rutler flows together and thinks summer is an amazing time of the year. She has always been a more expressive person and a little bohemian who is inspired by words and daily life.
Aguilera and Rutler seemed to be enjoying each other’s company as they were spotted spending the weekend together. Aside from celebrating their baby’s first birthday, the couple was present at the Apollo In The Hamptons event that weekend where the singer performed for a charity benefit. She also got to party with Real Housewives of New York actress, Bethenny Frankel in the Hamptons.
She sang hit songs including “Aint No Other Man” and “Lady Marmalade.”
According to People, Aguilera made a special dedication for her fiancé before she performed the classic hit “At Last” by Etta James.
