Tori Spelling was spotted leaving a spa with an irritated skin on Saturday. Those who have seen the actress were shocked to see her face red and blotchy.

According to a source, the actress underwent a Microdermabrasion facial, chemical peel, and eyebrow wax at the Calabasas Medical Spa. The source said that it is normal for the skin to look “red and angry at first” but the redness gradually disappears after a few hours if she does not expose herself to too much sunlight. Another dermatologist assured that Spelling’s case is not a cause for concern. Miami-based dermatologist, Dr. Barrry Resnik, explained to Us Weekly that a certain procedure peels the skin tissue to eliminate wrinkles, blemishes and scars.

“It is common to get red and inflamed after this treatment,” he said.

He added, “it usually takes about five to seven days to resolve, and can definitely result in glowing healthy new skin.”

The 90210 actress left the Calabasas Medical Spa with a bag containing products for post-treatment.

She was wearing a black sleeve to protect the burn she got after tripping and falling onto a hot grill at Benihana restaurant on Easter Sunday. To avoid infection and scarring, the 42-year-old had a skin graft at the Grossman Burn Center in Western Hills on April, Daily Mail Online reported.

Health scare issues aside, Spelling was seen with the Real Housewives of New York star, Kristen Taekman the next day, flaunting her flawless and youthful skin. The redness on Spelling’s face was gone.

Also that Sunday, she was seen with her family around the Studio City Farmer’s Market looking well after the procedure.
