A couple months ago, we looked at a new video feature Facebook has been testing which lets users watch a video shared on the social network in a pop-out window while continuing to scroll through the News Feed. At the time, we only saw the feature in action on the desktop, but now, it looks like they’re testing it on mobile as well (at least on iOS).

As discussed when we looked at the desktop test for the pop-out videos, the feature could potentially increase video views quite a bit as users can go about their business while the video plays. This also means videos won’t necessarily keep their full attention, but it does give creators a better chance of having their content actually viewed.
