Kendall Jenner has appeared very supportive of Bruce Jenner’s transition into Caitlyn Jenner, however earlier on Monday she shared a throwback pic of Bruce and Kris Jenner via Instagram.
Is this Kendall’s way of saying she wishes things were back to where they used to be?
“Yo. Goals,” she captioned the shot.
Perhaps that means she’s proud of her dad for achieving so much after yearning to be female for so long? Maybe posting the photo isn’t a bad thing?
The posting comes on the heels of the I Am Cait episode that features the first post-transition meeting between Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner. Perhaps Kendall Jenner simply needed reassurance that her parents were once a loving couple.
“We did have a lot of great times. We’ve moved on, both of us, but I don’t want to throw all the great times away,” Caitlyn Jenner said in Sunday night’s episode. “And so for the kids, Kendall and Kylie, I don’t want tension. I don’t want to put them in a tough position. This is really, very, very difficult.”
Kendall Jenner’s little sister Kylie turned 18 in August, and both of their parents attended the party. Caitlyn and Kris even posed for a selfie together.
If posting this throwback pic is any indication that Kendall Jenner is uncomfortable or unhappy with Caitlyn Jenner, then hopefully the issue can be worked out. Watching her male dad transition into a female dad is an enormous life change–and not one that many young women experience.
If there is an issue, perhaps Caitlyn and Kendall Jenner can attend some counseling sessions so that their relationship isn’t affected by all of these changes.
What’s your take on Kendall Jenner posting the picture of Bruce and Kris Jenner together? Do you think she’s longing for happier times?
