Krysten Ritter is set to star in the second Netflix Marvel series Jessica Jones. Cast in the title role, Ritter is excited about playing the newest Marvel heroine.
Jessica Jones–the character–is fierce, and Krysten Ritter is all over that. In a new clip touting the series, fans can see what Jessica Jone–the Marvel series–will feature.
“The 13-episode drama centers on Jones as she rebuilds her personal life and career as a detective in New York City after her short-lived stint, as the superhero Jewel, ended tragically at the hands of Kilgrave–aka Purple Man (David Tennant),” Page Six reports.

In addition to Krysten Ritter, Jessica Jones also stars Mike Colter (as Luke Cage), Rachael Taylor (as Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval.
