January Jones and Will Forte met on the set of The Last Man on Earth, and things heated up quickly. The two officially split in August.

Fortunately all went smoothly for Will Forte and January Jones when they both attended the 2015 Emmys on Sunday. Jones hung out with her Mad Men costars for the evening. Forte was nominated for his Last Man on Earth role. He lost out to Jeffrey Tambor for his Transparent role.

Rumor has it that January Jones wasn’t interested in a serious long term relationship–hence her split from Will Forte. She recently told her friends that, “Relationships are a pain in the ass.”

January Jones is the mother of four-year-old son Xander, so there’s always that component of her life as well. It’s hard to commit to a relationship when a child is involved unless everything is in perfect alignment–and that doesn’t happen all too often.
