Kelly Clarkson has been put on full vocal rest by her doctors. Recently suffering some minor vocal bleeding, the “Stronger” singer cancelled a few of her U.S. concert dates, but it seems the problem has only gotten worse.
Set to perform nine concerts in Canada beginning on October 1, and six concerts in the U.K. beginning on November 10th, Kelly Clarkson has learned in recent days that she is unable to sing for any of these concerts.
Clarkson took to Twitter earlier in September to announce the cancellation of some of her concerts here in the U.S.
So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice! pic.twitter.com/i5byD90ssP

It was on Friday that Kelly Clarkson issued a statement regarding her upcoming concerts in Canada and the U.K.
“I am truly sorry that I have to cancel the remainder of my tour dates,” the statement reads. “I was looking forward to sharing this tour with all my amazing fans in Canada and the U.K. Unfortunately my doctor is telling me I have to stay on vocal rest, but I am working hard to get better as fast as possible.”

So far nothing has been mentioned about Kelly Clarkson undergoing surgery for her vocal cord issue. Singers Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor recently underwent surgery to repair their vocal cords.
Hopefully by canceling these portions of her “Piece by Piece” tour, Kelly Clarkson will soon be on the mend and performing for her fans once again.
