Nina Dobrev, best known for her role on The Vampire Diaries, has her first steady beau since her split from former cast mate Ian Somerhalder. Dobrev began dating Austin Stowell in June, and this weekend the couple walked the red carpet together at the premiere of his latest film Bridge of Spies.

Things have moved along quite nicely–and rather quickly, too–for Austin Stowell and Nina Dobrev. They vacationed in San Tropez after dating for just a month, then he attended her former costar Kayla Elwell’s September wedding with her.

Although Stowell attended the premiere of Nina Dobrev’s latest work The Final Girls in June, this weekend marked the couple’s first walk on a red carpet. In the celebrity world, this means they’re definitely an item.

Later this week, the new season of The Vampire Diaries premieres. This marks the first time the show will air sans Nina Dobrev. Fans will no doubt have mixed feelings about her absence.

Still a bit uncertain about her next career move, Nina spoke with People magazine shortly after she announced her planned departure from the hit show.
