Tom Bergeron didn’t appear on Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars, instead viewers saw former champion and master of the Carlton Alfonso Ribeiro.
Why?
Bergeron had more important matters to attend to – his ill father,
“I’ll miss 2morrow’s #dwts to be at my Dad’s bedside. He’s given me a lifetime of support. Time to return the favor,” he tweeted.
And when the show aired, Bergeron thanked Ribeiro and Erin Andrews for their support.

I'm on a plane reading all of your lovely tweets which I'll share with my Dad. They are deeply appreciated. Thank you.

Lot of love within the Dancing with the Stars family, it seems.
From Monday’s episode, the clip that appears to be getting the most play is Bindi Irwin’s emotional tribute to her late father, Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.
