Ethan Embry joined the cast of The Walking Dead, making a big impression on his debut episode – the start of Season 6 – which aired on Sunday.
Fan reaction to his performance seems to be very positive, and Embry had plenty of his own reaction to share on Twitter as well. Here’s everything he tweeted leading up to, during, and after the show on Sunday:
You guys are in for such a treat tonight…
I might be slightly biased, but I think it's the best episode yet!

It's the best show on tv, and the good people of the cast/crew couldn't deserve the success more.
Lucky for the invite to play!

Most people known Ethan Embry best from his movies in the 90s like Can’t Hardly Wait, That Thing You Do, and Empire Records, not to mention Dutch. This is by no means his first work in the horror genre, however. He has appeared in things like Masters of Horror, Freakylinks, The Prophecy II, and They.
In more recent years, Embry has appeared in a string of indie genre hits including Cheap Thrills, The Guest, and Late Phases. More recently than those, he appeared in The Devil’s Candy.
Interestingly enough, Embry may have actually auditioned for Rick on The Walking Dead when the show was getting started.
