Underwood’s new album Storyteller drops this Friday, October 23rd. The first single off the album, “What I Never Knew I Always Wanted”, talks about her son Isaiah, who was born in February.
Underwood recently admitted that she suffers from “mom guilt” while trying to balance her booming career and her new son.
“I think mom guilt is rampant in my life,” she said. “I am sure it is in any mom’s … I still constantly wonder, ‘Is this fair to him? Is my life fair to him?'”
“He’s my No. 1 priority. But it’s just a question of how am I going to do this? … I’ll probably never find the answers to those questions.”
The American Music Awards air on November 22nd. Before that, Carrie Underwood will perform at the Country Music Association Awards on November 4th.
