Krysten Ritter stars as Jessica Jones in Marvel’s upcoming show to air on Netflix. Called Jessica Jones, Ritter shines as the lead character in the sure-to-be hit show.

The trailer for Jessica Jones was just released, and Krysten Ritter is–simply put–quite amazing.

In addition to Krysten Ritter, Jessica Jones also stars Doctor Who’s David Tennant as the villain Kilgrave, The Good Wife’s Mike Colter as Luke Cage (he is also getting his own series after Jessica Jones is released), Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker (known as Hellcat by comic fans), The Matrix’s Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval.

Comic fans are well aware of some of the things Kilgrave has done to Jessica Jones. It appears as though many of these things will air via Netflix. E! News calls the show “brutal and addicting at the same time.
