Khloe Kardashian threw a very modest 36th birthday party for Lamar Odom on Friday, that was held in the former NBA player’s hospital room. Several of her family members were on hand to celebrate.

Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Tyga, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian West, and Kourtney Kardashian all joined Khloe Kardashian celebrating not only Lamar Odom’s 36th birthday, but the notion of Lamar Odom being alive. Several of Lamar’s friends attended the birthday party, too. According to TMZ, none of the friends in attendance were part of the group he hung out with when doing drugs. A few members of Lamar’s family were there, too.

Lamar Odom has been at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles since October 19th, when he was transferred there by medical helicopter from Las Vegas. Days before he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He was in a coma for several days.

Khloe Kardashian has only left Lamar’s side a few times throughout his entire hospitalization. She visited James Harden–who she was dating prior to Lamar’s near-death crisis–at a basketball game in Houston. She also left Lamar’s hospital room a couple of weeks ago to attend Kim Kardashian West’s baby shower.

Shortly after Lamar Odom emerged from his coma, Khloe Kardashian withdrew her divorce petition from the L.A. court system. She explained to the media that this doesn’t mean the two are getting back together, however. It simply means she isn’t addressing the option of divorce while Lamar is recovering.

Lamar Odom’s birthday party wasn’t the only one Khloe Kardashian and her family members attended on Friday. The family was also throwing a $2 million party for Kris Kardashian’s 60th birthday later that same evening.

Kudos to Khloe Kardashian for staying by Lamar Odom’s side during this very difficult recovery process.
