Slack announced on Twitter that its /remind function, which previously let users set reminders for themselves, now works for reminding other people about things.
Some might find this annoying, but considering that Slack is for teams, it could actually be an important feature for helping ensure things get done.
Beyond that, reminders can now be set for entire channels as well as on a recurring basis.
Before, you could only use the /remind command to remind yourself of things. Now: Even more options! ?#changelog pic.twitter.com/ihmZT8KWEP
