Holly Holm defeated Ronda Rousey on Sunday in Melbourne, Australia at the UFC main event. She also sent her to the hospital following the fight.

UFC president Dana White spoke with Fox Sports shortly after the upset.

“Yeah, she went to the hospital,” White said. “Her lip is split, and they’re going to have to sew her lip and put some stitches in it.”

Holly Holm, a former professional boxer, kept at Ronda Rousey–pretty much picking her apart throughout the entirety of the near-two-round fight.

Ronda Rousey fell to the floor, but managed to work her way back up to her feet following a left hand from Holly Holm. Holly Holm threw a head kick that quickly sent Rousey back to the ground and ended the fight.

Rousey laid on the floor in a daze, which shocked fans. Holly Holm’s victory marks one of the biggest UFC upsets ever.
