Joey Feek has little time left in this life and is determined to spend every moment with those she loves — husband Rory Feek and her three daughters.
On Sunday, a heartbreaking photo of the courageous country singer surrounded by her darling daughters was posted on Facebook by Rory — enough to break anyone’s heart.
“Our girls drove up here last night to spend more time with their mom and baby sister,” the dad of three captioned the pic of Joey, 40, flanked by her baby girl Indiana, 20 months, and teenage stepdaughters Heidi and Hopie, as reported by Us Weekly.

The Joey + Rory singer was diagnosed with stage IV cervical cancer in 2014 and made the decision to halt all treatments last month after chemotherapy was deemed ineffective.
On Oct. 23, Joey’s husband shared the news and said that his wife was opting to live out her final days with their family.
“Sometimes there just aren’t enough surgeries — or doctors — or chemotherapies — or prayers,” he wrote on his blog, This Life I live, at the time. “And you have to wipe the tears from your cheeks and say the words that you were hoping to never have to say … Enough.”
On Nov. 9, Rory wrote that his wife was entering hospice care to share her final days “at peace.”

“After a series of different medications that didn’t seem to touch the pain — heavy doses of morphine brought Joey sweet relief,” Rory wrote. “I spent the night in the hospital with her last night. Today we are planning to bring her home. The last couple of mornings, I’ve brought Indiana up here to spend time with her mama. Both of their eyes light up the moment they see each other. It’s been beautiful.”
Joey and Rory were married in 2002, and welcomed their baby girl Indiana in February 2014.

In a follow-up post on Nov. 12, Rory shared another tender moment in hospice.
“A walker with wheels and a seat was delivered here yesterday and when we pulled it out for her this morning, Joey just laughed and said, ‘I can’t use that … it’s for old people.’ Then she grabbed the handles and pushed herself out of the room,” Rory shared. “When she reached little Indiana playing with toys on the living room rug, she said, ‘Come on, Indy. Mama will take you for a ride.’ So I helped Indy onto the seat, and Joey pushed her across the living room, through the kitchen, around the island and table, and back to her toys. Indy grinned ear-to-ear and so did we.”
Our thoughts are with Joey Feek and her family as they appreciate every single moment together.
