Ginnifer Goodwin and hubby Josh Dallas of Once Upon a Time fame are expecting their second child. Their first child, son Oliver Finlay Dallas, was born a month after they married in 2014.

The news of this second pregnancy may have caught the couple completely off guard, but that doesn’t mean they’re not ecstatic. Both said in previous months they wanted to add to their family.

“We’ll have as many as the universe will grant us,” Ginnifer Goodwin said during an interview with E! News in January.

In May, Josh Dallas mimicked her sentiments.

“Yah, I think so,” he said when asked if more kids will be coming in the future. “Maybe somewhere down the road. We’d like to give this guy a brother or a sister for sure. Close in age would be nice….Have a little buddy.”

That “nice little buddy” is now on his or her way.

Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas’s romance has been compared with that of fairy tales. They met on Once Upon a Time, and soon took the fairy tale off screen.

“I married Prince Charming,” Ginnifer Goodwin told Jimmy Kimmel. “We’re both southern, so I was literally barefoot and pregnant at our wedding. I was afraid I would fall over. I don’t know what I was thinking.”

One need only glance at Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas to see that fairy tales really can come true. Congratulations to them both on the upcoming new addition to their family.
