Emily Blunt and Charlize Theron take center stage in the first trailer to be released for next year’s almost certain hit, The Huntsman: Winter’s War.

Emily Blunt is Freya, an evil ice queen who happens to be the sister of the evil queen Ravenna from the first The Huntsman which is again played perfectly by Charlize Theron.

Of course, Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as the title character and this time he has a love interest.

Jessica Chastain gets to make out with Chris Hemsworth in her role as Sara, a fellow warrior who falls in love with him. This forbidden love leads to the pair’s banishment from Freya’s army.

This love story is nice, but the spotlight seems to be on the two evil queens, and rightly so.

Devan Coggin of Entertainment Weekly described the plot of the movie, saying, “Before Ravenna was defeated by Snow White, she stood by as Freya was betrayed and fled into the wilderness, where she built an icy palace and amassed an army of killer huntsmen.”

He added, “Eric [Hemsworth] and Sara [Chastain] were her two most beloved warriors, until they fell in love and she banished them. Years later, after learning that her sister has been defeated, Freya seeks to reclaim Ravenna’s Magic Mirror, only to find that it can help to resurrect her sister. Together, the pair team up to start a new reign of terror, as only evil queen sisters can.”

Emily Blunt gorgeous and dangerous as Freya, but there has also been tons of speculation as to her character’s inspiration.
