Sylvester Stallone admitted he was “wrong” to initially doubt the making of Creed, which is indie director Ryan Coogler’s take on the Rocky franchise.

“The feel of this is extremely personal as opposed to ‘just a movie’, in you know, ‘let’s keep the film going out perhaps for financial reasons’,” the Hollywood action star said at the Creed premiere.

“It took about two and a half years – ‘Should I do this? Should I do this?’ … sometimes I have to admit I was wrong and he was right.”

In the movie, according to Reuters, Stallone’s iconic character Rocky Balboa becomes mentor to the son of his former rival Apollo Creed.

According to E! Online, the 69-year-old Oscar nominee looked incredibly dapper Thursday as he stepped out on the red carpet for the premiere of Creed with four dates, including his model wife Jennifer Flavin and his three teenage daughters, Sophia Rose Stallone, 19, Sistine Rose Stallone, 17, and Scarlet Rose Stallone, 13.

Daughter Sistine, who has followed in her mom’s modeling footsteps, looked like a mini-me of Jennifer, both sporting black and white ensembles with accents of lace. Meanwhile, eldest daughter Sophia looked stunning dressed in head to toe black with sexy panelling of sheer lace at the waist while youngest daughter Scarlet looked adorable wearing a red cocktail dress with a lace pattern overlay.

Thankfully, Stallone opted out of the lace motif and stuck with an elegant navy blue suit, white collared shirt and matching pocket square.

Sylvester Stallone and his family where certainly a knock out on the red carpet!
