Goldie Hawn celebrated her 70th birthday on Saturday, surrounded by her adoring family.

Kate Hudson, Oliver Hudson of Nashville and their siblings showered Goldie with lots and lots of love.

Kate posted a picture of herself and her siblings on her Instagram account, noting that she was going “off the grid” to spend a week basking in the warmth of her family, celebrating Goldie.

Kate, 36, and Oliver, 39, never fail to express their love for their mother each year and this year was no different.

In honor of Goldie’s 70th birthday, Kate Hudson shared a sweet video on Instagram that first pans across cupcakes and a “Happy Birthday” banner on a plane and then shows her cuddling in her mom’s lap and planting a kiss on Hawn’s cheek. Throughout the video, Ellie Goulding’s new song “Army” plays, with lyrics like, “When I’m with you, I’m standing with an army.”

As if that wasn’t adorable enough, the Rock the Kasbah actress captioned the video with an original poem about her mother’s life.
