Ashley Olsen and her twin sister Mary-Kate won’t appear–not even in a cameo–in the Full House reboot, Fuller House. Lori Loughlin, who plays the role of Aunt Becky in the reboot, confirmed the news to the Huffington Post earlier this week.

“No, I don’t think they’re going to make a cameo. They didn’t this season,” Loughlin said.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen played the role of Michelle Tanner, the youngest of the three Tanner sisters. Candace Cameron Bure plays DJ Tanner, with Jodie Sweetin playing middle daughter Stephanie Tanner.
When word of the Full House reboot first made news, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen claimed they were never invited to join the cast. John Stamos, who plays Uncle Jesse and serves as one of the show’s producers, cried foul, claiming that simply wasn’t true. He claimed later to have cleared the air with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and left the door wide open for them to appear should they want to do so.
Lori Loughlin says season one of Fuller House is in post production, and that neither Mary-Kate nor Ashley Olsen ever took him up on the offer.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are quite established within the fashion world, designing several clothing lines under their own labels.
Did you expect that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen would wind up making at least a cameo appearance on Fuller House? How do you suppose they would have handled that as adults? When they were kids, they shared the role of Michelle Tanner because of child labor laws. It certainly would be fun to see them do that now.
