Criminal Minds will air a familiar face next month when it welcomes former Parks and Recreation star Aubrey Plaza as a guest star on the show. Instead of the quirky, completely harmless April Ludgate, however, Plaza will play the evil Cat Adams on Criminal Minds.

Cat Adams is Dr. Spencer Reid’s date in a January episode of Criminal Minds, and she reportedly “pulls out a gun before the main course.” Matthew Gray Gubler stars as Spencer Reid.

Plaza’s character claims she knows all about Reid, as well as his work at the BAU. His skills will no doubt be put to the test as he tries to save not only himself, but a restaurant full of unsuspecting victims, too.

There’s lots of intrigue in Aubrey Plaza’s role in this Criminal Minds episode. First off, Dr. Reid and a date–that alone is an episode in itself. Add to that a rather psychotic Aubrey Plaza, and there will no doubt be lots to love–if you love bone-chilling crime–in this episode.
