Facebook is testing a new feature that lets you search for posts on a Page.

Recently, the company was seen testing a feature that let you do the same from profiles, but now they appear to be extending it to Pages, which may prove even more useful in some cases.

Of course only a few users actually have access to the feature, which is fairly typical of Facebook feature tests. While it was first reported on by AdWeek, MarketingLand confirmed the test with the company:

A Facebook spokesperson confirmed the test in an email. It’s a pilot on desktop and mobile for small number of US English users. People in the test group see a search box on Facebook Pages…

Search has become more of a focal point for Facebook in in recent years (though perhaps not as much as video), and the additions of features like this will continue to improve the situation. That is if people can actually access them.

A couple of other search-related feature are also in testing. One is for searching Places on Facebook while the other is for searching professional services.

AdWeek has a screenshot of the “search for posts on this page” feature.
