Richard Marx, the 1980s icon known for songs including “Should’ve Known Better” and “Right Here Waiting for You,” married television host and model Daisy Fuentes in Aspen on Wednesday.
Posting the exciting news on social media, Marx shared some gorgeous wedding photos of him with his beautiful bride.
“On December 23rd, 2015 the magnificent @daisyfuentes gave me the honor of becoming my wife. #Aspen,” Richard Marx captioned a photo of the glowing bride and groom, against a dazzling backdrop of snowy mountains.
“#married #Aspen #UnforgettableChristmas @daisyfuentes #mybeautifulwife,” Richard Marx captioned an indoor shot, awash in bubbles.
Daisy Fuentes shared word of her marriage to Richard Marx via Twitter.

Richard Marx and Daisy Fuentes dated for about a year before tying the knot. They starred in a music video together in 2014, called “Beautiful Goodbye.”
“It made perfect sense to me to ask my co-writer on the song, Daisy Fuentes, to be my co-star in the video,” Richard Marx told People magazine last year. “In addition to writing the song with me, Daisy is the epitome of sexy, elegance and class.”
Did you know Richard Marx was still making music? It’s likely some thought he’d gone down those proverbial washed-up 80s music tubes with the dawn of the 1990s.
Daisy Fuentes and her new husband definitely make a striking couple. Fortunately for all, Richard Marx ditched the 80s hair long before he met the lovely TV host.
