Hayden Panettiere was all smiles on the red carpet at Sunday’s Critics’ Choice Awards. It was the first red carpet the Nashville star has walked since receiving treatment for postpartum depression in October.

Wearing a delicate peach-colored gown with a substantial front cutout, Hayden glowed as she posed for the cameras.

Hayden Panettiere and fiance Wladimir Klitschko welcomed their daughter Kaya in December of 2014. Ten months later–and still not feeling up to par–she checked herself into an in-patient treatment program for postpartum depression.

“When [you’re told] about postpartum depression, you think it’s ‘I feel negative feelings towards my child, I want to injure or hurt my child,’ I’ve never, ever had those feelings. Some women do. But you don’t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on,” she said during an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael late in 2015. “It’s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal.”

Following her treatment, Hayden Panettiere was spotted in Germany, cheering on her fiance at the IBF IBO WBO World Heavyweight Championship Fight.

Fans were no doubt cheering Hayden Panettiere on at the Critics’ Choice Awards Sunday for attending to her needs in the best interest of her daughter.
