Peter Gabriel and Sting have announced a joint North American Tour, which they are calling the Rock Paper Scissors tour.
The tour will only last about a month, spanning from June 21st to July 24th. The tour kicks off at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, and ends at Rexall Place in Edmonton.
There will be 19 shows in all.
“What intrigues me is that you get a good bunch of musicians together and interesting things will happen if they are allowed to,” Gabriel said in a statement.
“I’m very happy that we’re taking the chance to experiment this way. I think people will be intrigued, I certainly am,” said Sting. “I had a successful tour with Paul Simon, who is someone else I admire greatly, and that worked so well I thought I’d like to do this again … who could I tour with? And then I thought of Peter because we’ve known each other for so long”
