Conrad Hilton will be spending at least 90 days in a substance abuse treatment program after a Los Angeles judge ruled he had violated his probation.
Hilton, hotel heir and brother of Paris Hilton, was put on probation last year. Hilton pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge after an incident aboard a British Airways flight in which he reportedly threatened flight attendants and repeatedly went to the plane’s bathroom to smoke pot and tobacco.
He was given three years probation and 750 hours of community service.
Hilton was also arrested just a few months after the flight incident on charges of violating a restraining order against his ex-girlfriend.
According to authorities, Hilton broke the terms of his probation by failing several drug tests, failing to complete required treatment programs, and traveling out of state without authorization.

Prosecutors actually wanted to jail Hilton for two months, but the judge opted for the treatment program instead.
