Four 90-minute episodes of Gilmore Girls will be filmed. Each will represent a season–fall, winter, spring, summer–of one full calendar year. Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham will star in the four-part revival.
In addition to Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham, Gilmore Girls will also star original cast members Scott Patterson (Luke), Kelly Bishop (Emily), Sean Gunn (Kirk) and Keiko Agena (Lane). Fans are anxiously awaiting word on whether or not Melissa McCarthy will return to reprise her role as Sookie St. James.
Lauren Graham and Netflix both made official announcements via Twitter.

Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham spent six seasons portraying Rory Gilmore and Lorelai Gilmore. They were possibly one of the most popular mother-daughter duos on TV.
