Sophie Skelton is joining the cast of the hit Starz program Outlander. Those who have read the series of novels know exactly how important a role Sophie Skelton is about to play.

Outlander centers around World War II nurse Claire Randall, who travels through time and meets Scotsman Jamie Fraser.

Sophie Skelton will play the role of Brianna Fraser–the daughter of Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser. Viewers may be wondering why Brianna is an adult. For that information, they’ll simply have to wait and see.
