The Flash and Supergirl are set to air a crossover episode next month. The Flash and Supergirl executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg made the announcement on Monday in a statement to TV Guide.

“We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we starting making Supergirl—The Flash and Supergirl are teaming up!” the statement read. “We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally, thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone’s enthusiasm and support.”
This is the first time Supergirl has appeared in a crossover episode. The Flash has been included in multiple crossover episodes with Arrow.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as the lead character, as well as Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton, Tom Cavanagh, Carlos Valdes, Jessie L. Martin, and Rick Cosnett.
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as the lead character, as well as Mehcad Brooks, Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, and Jeremy Jordan.
Fans can tune in to the crossover episode between The Flash and Supergirl on Monday, March 27 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
