After winning a Golden Globe for his role as the “Italian Stallion” in Creed, he joked that Rocky Balboa is his imaginary friend.
“I want to thank my imaginary friend Rocky Balboa for being the best friend I ever had,” Sylvester Stallone said.
If Stallone wins at the Oscars, it will be quite a comeback story. He’s got some pretty stiff competition, however. In order to go home with the gold, he’ll have to beat out some Hollywood A-listers, including Mark Ruffalo, Christian Bale, and Tom Hardy.

ABC News calls Sylvester Stallone’s role in Creed, “maybe the actor’s finest, most complicated work yet.”
But is it enough?
