Apple first introduced the iPad Pro at an event back in September. It was touted as “the biggest news in iPad since the iPad.”
At 12.9 inches with a 5.6 million pixel display, it was literally the biggest iOS device ever created by the company.
Apple is expected to hold another event on March 21, and at that vent, the company is expected to introduce a new iPhone and a new, smaller version of the iPad Pro. BGR reports:
Apple at the upcoming event will also introduce a 9.7-inch version of its iPad Pro, which is to say the device will come with Apple Pencil and smart keyboard support. And last, and perhaps least, Apple on March 21 will likely introduce some new bands for the Apple Watch as well.
“The early response to iPad Pro from app developers and our customers has been incredible,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing when the first model was released in November. “iPad Pro is the most powerful iPad we’ve ever made, giving users the ability to be even more creative and more productive with the epic 12.9-inch Retina display, powerful 64-bit A9X chip and groundbreaking Apple Pencil and new Smart Keyboard. We can’t wait to see what they do with iPad Pro.”
Giving consumers and professionals another option should only enable them to do more.
The event is expected to be held at Apple’s Town Hall in Cupertino. The coming iPhone is expected to be the main attraction.
