Olsen twins publicity just took an upturn as their appearance on the highly-anticipated Fuller House has been glaringly obvious.

Fans of Full House, and fans of the new Fuller House, were really hoping to see just what the Olsen twins as Michelle Tanner were going to be up to.

Surprisingly, showrunners worked the Olsen twins’ absence in fairly smoothly, but the Tanner house just didn’t feel quite…full.

The way they worked the Olsen twins into the script seemed to be a bit of a jab at Mary-Kate and Ashley’s way too busy lives.

In the first episode, for instance, When Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) asks where Michelle is, Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) says, “Well, Michelle sends her love, but she’s busy in New York running her fashion empire.”

Then the cast stares pointedly into the camera for long enough to make an uncomfortable point.

Fuller House creator Jeff Franklin was not happy that the Olsen twins couldn’t fit at least one show appearance into their schedule.

He said, “That was a giant bummer, but their participation was never a precondition for doing that show. I hoped that they would come back and do one episode, but I didn’t think that they were going to be regulars.”

It leaves some wondering if Fuller House is renewed for a second season, will the Olsen twins show up this time?

Surely the Olsen twins can put down their pens and fabric to make a visit to the set of Fuller House for one little episode?

If not, the Olsen twins could be in “big trouble, mister” with their fans.

What do you think? Should the Olsen twins have made time for Fuller House?
